So I whiled away the morning reading New Scientist and writing a recalcitrant new story while I waited for the knock at the door that I've come to know so well , that most welcome sound which announces that the gas guys have arrived and I once more have a fully functioning household.So yay, 'tis done now. Time for the whistling part of the day. Let the washing and sweeping and the bread baking begin.
